Adela graduated from Veterinary and Pharmaceutical University Brno, Czech Republic in 2003. She has been working as an equine vet at mixed practice in Kent for 8 years, after which she founded solely equine ambulatory practice East Kent Equine Ltd. Her main interest has always been in equine lameness investigation and diagnostic imaging (especially ultrasound and radiography). To improve her knowledge in this area she continued her post-gradual training under Liverpool University and achieved a RCVS recognised Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Equine Surgery and Orthopaedics (Cert AVP ES-O) in 2010 and a RCVS recognised Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (Cert AVP VDI) in 2016. She found very frustrating that many of the lameness cases were due to altered biomechanics and back problems, which are notoriously difficult to treat by traditional veterinary medicine. This lead her to look further into "alternative" treatments and she then decided to continue her further education in animal chiropractic. She completed a post-gradual course in Animal Chiropractic under International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractics (IAVC) and following that she passed an independent clinical competency examination with International Veterinary Chiropractic Association. Then in 2021 she graduated from Vluggen Institute of osteopathy and became an Equine Osteopath EDO, shortly followed by post-gradual course in canine osteopathy. This enables her to offer trully integrated care for horses and dogs with both musculoskeletal and visceral problems.
